Dreamlike camping nights in the moonlight in absolute freedom, unique light moods during the day and at night, extraterrestrial motifs, mystical lunar eclipse… On my tour to the Bisti Wilderness in New Mexico as well as the area around Hanksville in Utah one highlight followed the other.

The photographic goal of this tour for my Extraterra project were landscapes as they could occur on our moon, the planet Mercury or generally on rocky planets. Plus exciting cloud formations and violent storms as an earthly analogy for the planet Jupiter.
